Fans have always had this notion that Marvel and DC are bitter rivals in the world of superheroes and comic books but that's not exactly the case as the two comic book giants have proven time and time again that there's no bad blood between them. If anything, it's just the "toxic" fandom that is responsible for creating this non-existent competition.

Now, with Zack Snyder's Justice League finally here for us to relish and enjoy, some fans would think that the MCU is actually threatened about the project's potential. Apparently, that's not the case, and even the directors of the second highest-grossing film of all time Avengers: Endgame are thrilled that the project has finally been fulfilled after all these years.

Joe and Anthony Russo took to their official Twitter handle to praise Snyder for finally realizing his vision. They also extended their respect to the DCEU director and even said that they'll be watching the Snyder Cut just like everyone else. They wrote: "From two superhero junkies to another, so excited that your vision has been truly realized. Much respect. We'll be watching along with everyone else..."

It's great to see fans of both franchises coming together as one for a "united" cause. Now, I've said this countless times before, whether you're part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe wagon or a firm believer of the DC Extended Universe, you owe it to yourself as a comic book film fan to see Zack Snyder's Justice League. And to everyone who didn't stop fighting for the project, consider this one your victory as well.

Zack Snyder's Justice League is now available for streaming on HBO Max.
