The wait for the Avengers 4 trailer might not be as long as we initially expected. It's possible that the first teaser's release date was revealed in Avengers: Infinity War.
The idea was suggested by a Twitter user who kept a close eye on the details featured in the Infinity War post-credit scene. According to the Marvel fan, the Avengers 4 trailer release date appeared in the scene just as Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) sent a message out to Captain Marvel (Brie Larson).
Could MMcCarthy681 be right about this? They did point out that the actual date might be on January 18 but November would be the more plausible option for the Avengers 4 trailer release date. After all, Marvel Studios usually drops the first teaser for an upcoming flick about six months before its premiere. For instance, the Captain Marvel trailer was revealed in September. But then again, this is only a theory so it's best to take the information with a grain of salt.
The release of the first Avengers 4 trailer will mean more than just sharing a glimpse at what we will be seeing next year. It would also finally reveal the official title of the highly anticipated Marvel Cinematic Universe sequel. This could finally bring an end to all the fan theories that have been going on for a long time.
The possible Avengers 4 trailer release also fits considering that Joe and Anthony Russo have just confirmed that production has wrapped for the sequel. The Infinity War directors even shared an interesting new image that may have teased on what the heroes will be using to defeat Thanos once and for all.
Avengers 4 will hit theaters on May 3, 2019.
