Avengers 4: Toy Leaks Reveal New Costumes For Thor and Rocket

Fans have a lot of expectations for Avengers 4, especially after the impossibly high standard that was set by Avengers: Infinity War. This is why there are so many fan theories and reports surrounding the fourth film, which is set to be the grand finale for some of these characters. It's going to be an emotional time for fans of the MCU, that's for sure.

One thing that might not reach expectations is this leak of the costumes for Thor and Rocket. Revealed via some toy art, we see Thor and Rocket in odd white uniforms that not only match but are also kind of bland-looking. While not downright awful, they lack personality, especially when compared to their previous costumes.

Another issue fans have is the sudden increase in the size of Thor's Stormbreaker hammer. While it was always bigger than Mjolnir, the weapon looks much bigger than it did in Infinity War and looks rather silly because of it. This could be due to the fact that it's a toy but there's no doubt that the design is more silly than what fans have gotten used to.

We've also seen a new costume for Captain America, adapting his scale armor from the comics. It's actually a great look for Steve Rogers and was a modern update that fans loved when it was made, making the silly costume of yesteryear seem more credible.

Chances are, these won't be permanent costumes for the two characters, especially since we might see time travel play a big part in Avengers 4. After all, we have to bring Peter Parker back for the next Spider-Man movie.

Avengers 4 comes out on May 3, 2019.
