Avengers 4 Theory Claims Thanos Might Not Have Gathered All Of The Infinity Stones

Thanos might have turned half of the living population into dust with a single snap of his fingers in Avengers: Infinity War, but a new Avengers 4 fan theory suggests that the Mad Titan might not have actually completely collected all the Infinity Stones the first time around.

Though Marvel fans don't really have evidence to support their opinions yet, some fan on Twitter has been cooking up a theory suggesting that Thanos might not have completed all the Infinity Stones in Avengers: Infinity War. Noticing that the visual color of Scarlet Witch's powers is red, Reddit user 11_Apollo_22 wonders whether Thanos could have been tricked by the red colored Reality Stone, making the Mad Titan believe that he collected all six gems when he actually didn't.

"Has anyone noticed how similar Scarlet Witch and the reality Stone are" the Marvel fan wrote in his post. "Just another example to add proof to the theory, she did have the ability to manipulate everyone's Minds at one point. And the red glow of her ability seems pretty consistent with the reality Stone. Hint hint, did Thanos ever really get the stone? Could this potentially be a ruse to manipulate Thanos? Again highly unlikely, especially considering the fact that I believe Avengers 4 has to do with the Quantum Realm. Or at least a small part. I actually had this suspicion after watching both Thor Dark World, and Avengers Age of Ultron. There are quite a few examples that made me wonder. Anyone else have a thought?"

As interesting as it might sound seeing the Avengers and Guardians of the Galaxy might have an easier chance of beating Thanos in Avengers 4 with his fake Reality Stone, it's also hard to believe that the Mad Titan wasn't able to collect all the gems in Infinity War. If Thanos had a fake Reality Stone, then how would he be able to snap his fingers and turn half of the universe into dust in the movie?
