Avengers 4 Art Leak Gives Fans A Good Look At Thanos’ New Sword

It looks like Thanos is going to bring with him another weapon aside from the Infinity Gauntlet in Avengers 4.

Artwork from the Avengers: Infinity War sequel has just made its way to Reddit today (via Screen Rant), and it looks like the art piece gives fans a better look at Thanos' new weapon – a double bladed sword. Fans first spotted Thanos with his sword with his battle armor in previously leaked concept art for Avengers 4, however, this new image gives everyone their best look at Thanos new weapon.

It also gives a slightly updated look at the sword too. While the older concept art featured a weapon with completely solid blades, one of which was significantly shorter than the other, this new image shows a few gaps in the design. Both sides of the sword also has sixteen slots separated from each other, meaning that Thanos' sword could be much larger and much more dangerous than fans first expected.

Right now there's still no knowing at what point will Thanos use his sword in the film, and fans are a little bit surprised that the Mad Titan would even need one. Not only does Thanos have all six Infinity Stones with him, but he also has unrivaled physical strength. The Mad Titan has proven his ability before, beating down the Hulk without breaking a sweat.

However, it is possible that Thanos might appear in a few time traveling sequences. There, fans will probably get to see the Titan in full armor with his sword tucked at his side in earlier scenes where he had to balance the scales of the Universe without the help of the Infinity Stones. That or the Mad Titan just gets a new sword for himself. We'll have to wait and see.
