The sci-fi mystery series, La Brea, is back for its third season. Along with this, we get introduced to new characters in the show. One actress we're looking at right now is Asmara Feik from La Brea.
Who is Asmara Feik from La Brea?
Asmara Feik is a young Australian actress born in Canberra. She has done a few TV shows but has not had a breakthrough role yet. But considering she is only 12 years old at this time, she still has plenty of time to get cast in various projects.
As Feik slowly builds a name for herself in the industry, we can expect her to get other roles in the future. She has already proven herself as a strong actress, despite her age. And this is just the start for the youngster.
Aside from acting, Feik is a talented singer. She was introduced by Tim Minchin at a 2023 concert. Playing the piano, Minchin let her sing his song, The Aeroplane.
On stage, Feik shared that the largest audience she sang for in the past was only 20 people. Although she was scared of singing in front of a massive audience, Minchin guided her through it.
As a result, the audience loved her innocent rendition of the song.

Other than singing, Feik has done voiceover work. She can also replicate accents. When she's not working, Feik reads, swims, and does crochet.

La Brea's Petra Character Explained
So what is the role played by Asmara Feik in La Brea?
Asmara Feik plays the role of Petra in La Brea. Her character first made an appearance towards the end of season 2 as the girl that the group found.
In La Brea Season 3, the series opens with an episode that reveals a bit more information on who Petra really is.
As pointed out by TVLine, Petra has the same eyes as Lucas and resembles Veronica. Series creator, David Appelbaum, explains however that she is not their daughter.
As it turns out, Petra is the daughter of Maya Schmidt.
Before the sinkhole opened, Maya and Scott were supposed to meet in Los Angeles. As they learned from Petra, they left the military base because some bad men wanted something from her.
That's all we know about Petra right now, but as more episodes get released, we'll have more information to share.
Where You've Seen Asmara Feik Before
Prior to starring in La Brea, Asmara Feik was in several other shows. Some of these include Surviving Summer and Upright, where she met Tim Minchin.
She also recently wrapped up filming for a major international feature film. Her debut in a feature film was in The True History of the Kelly Gang.
Her other roles were in Christmas on the Farm, The InBESTigators, and The Newsreader.
