Arrowverse Star Bitsie Tulloch Pays Tribute To Margot Kidder After Lois Lane Casting

Lois Lane is officially joining The CW's Arrowverse. Bitsie Tulloch has just addressed recent casting news and paid tribute to the iconic Margot Kidder.

Tulloch was recently confirmed to appear as Clark Kent's significant other in the CW crossover events for the shows The Flash and Supergirl. The former Grimm actress is clearly excited about the role and shared a grateful message on her official Instagram page. Check out her post below.

It's a lengthy message but Tulloch made sure to pay tribute to the late Kidder, who famously portrayed Lois in the Superman films starring Christopher Reeve.

"When I started acting, one of my teachers asked me to watch the screen tests for the role of Lois Lane for 1978's Superman. All of the actresses were terrific, but it was always clear to me why Margot Kidder won the role: she seemed lit from within, full of joie de vivre."

Tulloch also admitted that she is looking forward to reuniting with The Flash actress Danielle Panabaker, who had appeared in an episode of Grimm. She confessed that she is eager to meet Tyler Hoechlin, who portrays Clark in the Arrowverse.

Lois has been played by several actresses. Noel Neill is the first actress to portray the character in the 1940s Superman TV series. Phyllis Coates, Teri Hatcher, Erica Durance, and Kate Bosworth have all taken on the role of the tough journalist. The most recent actress to play Lois is Amy Adams, who appeared in Man of Steel, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, and Justice League.
