Arrow Showrunner Shares First Look At Wayne Enterprises In Elseworlds

Gotham City is set to debut in the highly anticipated Arrowverse crossover event Elseworlds. Arrow showrunner Marc Guggenheim has just revealed the first look at Wayne Enterprises. But what are the chances that Batman will pop up in The CW?

Guggenheim recently shared two behind-the-scenes photos from the Elseworlds set. The first picture shows what appears to be the Chicago Board of Trade Building while the second image features an alleyway with a GCPD officer. Take a look at the post below.

The showrunner also added an interesting caption. "If you can't bring Wayne Enterprises to Vancouver, you bring Vancouver to Wayne Enterprises," Guggenheim wrote, adding the hashtags #Elseworlds and #Chicago.

This might be the first time that one of the Arrowverse shows actually traveled out of Vancouver to shoot in a different location. Needless to say, it confirms that Elseworlds is going to be a crazy major event.

The Chicago Board of Trade Building was previously used to stand in for Wayne Industries in Batman Begins. The building's appearance in the Arrowverse certainly has fans wondering if Bruce Wayne will show up in Elseworlds. However, Guggenheim himself shot down the rumors.

Although we can't expect the Caped Crusader to swoop in, there's still another reason why Gotham City is in the event. This could be connected to Ruby Rose's debut as Batwoman in The CW. At least we can look forward to seeing Kate Kane in her hometown kicking ass like she's supposed to.

The Arrowverse crossover event will start with the Supergirl episode on December 9 followed by the Arrow episode on December 10. Elseworlds will conclude with an episode on The Flash on December 11.
