The news about the duo comes ahead of the much-awaited part two of the Netflix reality dating show.
After the eight-part show wrapped up in January 2022, Single’s Inferno 2 gets a green light giving the audience a reason to be excited.
On April 22, Netflix officially confirmed that the South Korean reality dating show is returning for season 2.
Following the announcement, the streaming platform released an intriguing teaser, promising for “hotter, bolder, and sexier” part 2.
Meanwhile, the officials of Single’s Inferno reportedly recruited participants through various official social media channels, while the upcoming season will be co-produced by JTBC and Sijak Company.
On the other hand, at the Netflix Korea press conference, content manager Yoo Ki Hwan revealed that the highly anticipated reality dating show is currently in the production stage.
In a report cited by a local media outlet, he shared an update noting that Single’s Inferno 2 "has recently been filmed” and hints that the upcoming sequel is “hotter than season 1.”
As for the participants and hosts, Netflix is yet to confirm if anyone from season 1 will appear on the show.
To recall, besides Shin Ji Yeon and Moon Se Hoon, the OG cast members include Song Ji Ah, Kim Hyeon Joong, An Yea Won, Choi Si Hun, Kang So Yeon, Seong Min Ji, Oh Jin Taek, Kim Jun Sik, Kim Su Min, and Cha Hyun Seung.
