In over a month, fans are about to see the spy world back on the small screen. FXX has officially announced the release date of Archer Season 13 and the long wait will be soon over.
Sterling Archer and the rest of the cast will continue their incredible journey in the spy world despite the changes that are happening. So, are fans ready to see what the fan-favorite spy agent has to bring to the table in Archer Season 13?
Archer Season 13 Synopsis
According to TV Insider, Archer Season 13 will see Fabian Kingsworth and the spy conglomerate IIA (International Intelligence Agency) acquiring Archer and The Agency. The group will do their best to retain their identities and independence as they are set to do odd works for the head of IIA.
With this turn of events, will Archer and his group manage to maintain their independence or succumb to the corporate overlord?
FXX Confirmed Archer Season 13’s Coming
Back in September 2021, FXX confirmed Archer Season 13’s coming by announcing the new season renewal.
Of course, many celebrated the news, though some asked who would voice the character of Malory after Jessica Walter’s tragic demise. Creator and showrunner Adam Reed told Collider in August 2021 that how they would handle the new season would be revealed at the end of the Season 12 finale.
He said,
“I think we've come up with some good ideas on how to handle it.”
True enough, the animated series gave a bittersweet farewell not just to Walter but to her much-loved character as well.
Malory bid goodbye to her son, Sterling, with a heart-melting note. As she began her new journey, she was with her estranged husband, Ron, whose voice actor, Ron Leibman, died in 2019.

Archer Season 13 Cast
Most of the series’ original characters will return to reprise their roles in Archer Season 13.
H. Jon Benjamin will be back to voice the series’ lead Sterling Archer.
The new season will feature the voices of Aisha Tyler as Lana Kane; Judy Greer as Chery/Carol Tunt; Chris Parnell as Cyril Figgis; Amber Nash as Pam Poovey; Adam Reed as Ray Gillette and Lucky Yates as Algernop Kieger.

The guest stars who will lend their voices for Archer Season 13 are Kenan Thompson, Alison Pill, Christian Slater, Kayvan Novak and Stephen Tobolowsky.
Archer Season 13 Release Date
Archer Season 13 will premiere on August 24 at 10 p.m. ET/PT on FXX. The new season will be composed of eight episodes, each running for 30 minutes.
New episodes will be out every week and will stream the next day on Hulu.
