Aquaman star Jason Momoa is proving once again that he's a superhero on-and-off-camera. The Hollywood stud surprised one of his fans who happened to be battling cancer with his own Atlantis trident. Danny Sheehan is an avid fan of Momoa and the iconic DC character. Sheehan first caught the attention of Momoa after a video of himself receiving his Aquaman action figure went viral. The Game of Thrones actor would later chat with the young fan via FaceTime and he promised to give Sheehan some goodies.

Momoa recently took to his official Instagram handle to share that Danny has received his own trident along with several Aquaman merchandise. Momoa wrote: "Wanted to share a picture of this amazing boy Danny Sheehan, Natalie his mom sent me this today. I wanted to say thanks to Andy Smith @sideshowcollectibles for putting some action figures and toys together for Danny and @wbpictures for sending over an Aquaman trident Mahalo to Everyone involved and the Sheehan family Aloha J"

Well, I guess Arthur Curry has officially passed on his trident to a worthy warrior. Check out the touching post below:

Speaking of the Atlantean King, it has been confirmed a few months back that Momoa will return for an Aquaman sequel, and judging by the unprecedented success of the first one, which is currently the only DCEU film to surpass 1 billion dollars at the global box office, it's safe to assume that James Wan and his team will have a little more freedom with the second installment. We're still not quite sure what goes down in Aquaman 2 but expect the stakes to be even higher now that Arthur is the King of the Seven Seas.

Aquaman 2 is slated for release in 2022.
