Aquaman: BTS Look at Power Ranger’s Ludi Lin as Commander Murk

Ludi Lin is slowly getting more into blockbuster roles. After debuting as the new Black Ranger in the Power Rangers reboot, Lin has been cast as a villain in this Decembers upcoming Aquaman. Check out this BTS look at his transformation into Commander Murk.

In the film, Murk will be serving as a commander to Prince Orm a.k.a. Ocean Master (Patrick Wilson). With Black Manta being advertised as the secondary antagonist, I'm guessing Murk will one of the smaller villains in the franchise. No doubt he's going to have some scenes going up against Aquaman himself, but I'm guessing that he'll spend a good chunk of the movie getting orders from Orm.

With the final trailer out, DC is slowly gearing up for the release of the film this December. Early reactions for the movie have been sparkling, and after the debacle that was Justice League, fans have been waiting for more than a year for the franchise to get back on its feet.

Though I am a bit bummed that Arthur Curry had some kind of change in character (he was more intimidating in the Justice League SDCC trailer), I'm sure the kids will love him. Plus, Momoa still looks like a total badass with that beard and long hair.

From Warner Bros. Pictures and director, James Wan, comes an action-packed adventure that spans the vast, visually breathtaking underwater world of the seven seas, "Aquaman," starring Jason Momoa in the title role. The film reveals the origin story of half-human, half-Atlantean Arthur Curry and takes him on the journey of his lifetime—one that will not only force him to face who he really is but to discover if he is worthy of who he was born to be… a king.

Aquaman hits theaters Dec. 21.
