Things are getting even more heated than usual in Johnny Depp's ongoing legal battle against Amber Heard. The Pirates of the Caribbean star has been unveiling shocking new evidence against his ex-wife, revealing that she almost severed his finger during an argument and was allegedly cheating on him with Elon Musk during their marriage. The latest revelation now purports that Heard was verbally abusive to the point of body-shaming Depp.
An official declaration from Tara Roberts, who is one of Depp's estate managers, stated that Heard would repeatedly berate her ex-husband throughout their relationship (via Cinemablend).
"She was insulting him, calling him names and in the middle of this onslaught I heard her say specifically 'your career is over,' 'no one is going to hire you,' 'you're washed up,' 'fat,' 'you will die a lonely man,' and also screaming things that were incomprehensible," Roberts said in the statement.
It's a shocking revelation considering that Heard had previously stated that Depp was the abusive one in the relationship. Nevertheless, Roberts' statement may have confirmed that the actress would repeatedly insult the Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald star to the point that he declared that he "needed to get away from Amber."
The new evidence against Heard has encouraged fans to continue defending Depp during the legal drama. In addition to that, there are reports that it could lead to the actress losing a major role in the future. There have been speculations that Warner Bros. is already thinking of firing Heard from Aquaman 2 with plans to recast her character.
Aquaman 2 is scheduled for release on December 16, 2022.
