If you still haven't watched the latest episode of The Falcon and The Winter Soldier, you're in for an awesome treat. Sam Wilson is now the new Captain America and Anthony Mackie has just shared an awesome behind-the-scenes look at his amazing debut.
The sixth episode of The Falcon and The Winter Soldier didn't disappoint as it opened with a superhero landing courtesy of the new Captain America. Sam throws the shield into a building window to disarm a Flag-Smasher before flying into the glass. It's a jaw-dropping introduction to the new Cap.
Fans are loving the sequence and Mackie made sure to thank his supporters on social media. The Avengers: Endgame star shared a photo that was taken during his special moment in The Falcon and The Winter Soldier Episode 6 along with a heartwarming caption. Check it out below.
"What a Friday it has been... thank you to everyone who's seen The Falcon and The Winter Soldier!" Mackie wrote. He then added the hashtags #SamWilsonIsCaptainAmerica and #FalconAndWinterSoldierFinale.
We're loving his behind-the-scenes look at that fantastic moment and we certainly can't wait to see more of the new Captain America in the future. After all, it has already been confirmed that there will be a fourth Captain America movie and that it could focus on Mackie's character. In addition to that, we could see him reunited with Bucky Barnes in the film.
Captain America 4 has not yet been given an official title nor a release date. In the meantime, you can still see the new Cap in action in The Falcon and The Winter Soldier Episode 6, which is now available on Disney+.
