While Michael Douglas has confirmed that he'll be reprising his role for the recently revealed third Ant-Man film, he didn't seem to be aware that he'll be joining the cast of Marvel's upcoming Disney+ series What If…? too.

In a recent interview with Collider, Douglas talked about his upcoming projects including The Kominsky Method and Netflix's Green Eggs and Ham. And towards the end of the conversation, the interviewer mentioned that he was excited for Douglas to be voicing Hank Pym in What If…? to which the actor responded in surprise, "Am I?"

Douglas revealed that they haven't told him about the series yet. He said, "I'll find out after this. I have no idea." He admitted that he was looking at the interviewer and just thinking, "‘Uh-huh, yeah, sure.'"

Douglas not knowing that he'll be included in the series isn't surprising. Companies like Marvel try their best to keep most things about their projects under wraps in order to avoid spilling some details in an unexpected time.

Even though he wasn't aware of his inclusion in the animated series, he surprisingly revealed that he would be appearing in Ant-Man 3. He even mentioned that filming will start in January 2021.

He also touched upon some topics regarding being part of Avengers: Endgame, where he was seen for a brief moment. He mentioned that he is having a great time and he thinks that the Marvel world is really cool.

For now, there's no release date for Ant-Man 3 yet. On the other hand, What If…? is expected to be released around Summer of 2021.
