Ant-Man 3 Star Michael Douglas Teases New Updates on MCU Sequel

The world might not be doing too much due to the mandatory quarantines caused by the Coronavirus outbreak but it looks like Marvel is still moving forward with some of its projects. Michael Douglas has just teased that fans should be looking forward to some Ant-Man 3 updates really soon.

Douglas recently took part in a Q&A session on Instagram where he answered several fan questions (via Twitter). Not surprisingly, someone asked the Ant-Man and the Wasp star if he could tell them the status of the third film. Interestingly, Douglas got secretive, whispering that Marvel Studios might send someone to shoot him if he shared any details. On the other hand, he did state that people should "hang tight" because the studio could be making some cool announcements really soon.

It's interesting that Douglas is choosing to play coy now after he had previously confirmed that he will return as Hank Pym in the still-untitled Ant-Man 3. Last year, the Fatal Attraction actor had revealed that filming for the sequel will begin in January 2021. With that in mind, there's a possibility that Marvel has asked Douglas to avoid sharing too much about the project.

For now, we don't know much about Ant-Man 3 although fans can rest assured that Paul Rudd and Evangeline Lilly will return as Scott Lang and Hope van Dyne. In addition to that, there's a huge possibility that Cassie Lang will be back and could play a bigger role in the sequel.

Ant-Man 3 has not yet been given an official release date. Stay tuned for more updates on this story.
