Anime fans are in for lots of big reveals as the Aniplex Online Fest is confirmed to return in 2023, featuring an impressive lineup of anime that includes Black Butler, Solo Leveling, and more.
Aniplex Online Fest is Aniplex’s annual event that highlights new and upcoming anime from the production company.
Much like last year’s event, the Online Fest for 2023 will feature an online and offline component.
Aniplex Online Fest Returns This September With Online and Offline Events
At the height of the pandemic, Aniplex held its inaugural Aniplex Online Fest in July 2020. At the time, the event happened purely online as in-person events weren’t possible then due to quarantine restrictions.
Since the first event in 2020, Aniplex has held the event annually. Last year was the biggest one yet as it featured an offline event for those in Japan to enjoy.
For 2023, Aniplex once again has an in-person event, and it is happening at Zepp DiverCity Tokyo.
Given that this will be the first Online Fest after Japan opened its borders to tourists, it’s expected to get a lot of attendees.
Fans who can’t make it to Japan can still enjoy the event via the livestream which will be available with an English language option.

Aniplex Announces Online Fest 2023 Anime Lineup
The highlight of the event is no doubt the range of anime that will get announcements, likely in the form of new trailers. Aniplex’s event lineup includes:

- My New Boss Is Goofy
- ATRI: My Dear Moments-
- Solo Leveling
- A Returner's Magic Should Be Special
- Black Butler
- 16bit Sensation: Another Layer
- Rascal Does Not Dream of a Knapsack Kid
- Delico's Nursery
- The Elusive Samurai
- Hypnosis Mic -Division Rap Battle- Rhyme Anima+
- Heat the Pig Liver
- The Concierge at Hokkyoku Department Store
- Demon Lord 2099
- Mashle: Magic and Muscles
- Puella Magi Madoka Magica The Movie: Walpurgisnacht: Rising
- The Demon Prince of Momochi House
- UniteUp!
- Rurouni Kenshin
Finally, the event will also feature a selection of guests, including many popular VAs from the listed shows.
On top of these, the event will feature musical performances from KANA-BOON, Philosophy no Dance, and more.
Aniplex Online Fest 2023 is happening on September 10, 2023. More info, including the detailed schedule, is expected to release closer to the event’s date.
