Japanese Anime Super Fan Spent $26,000 on His Favorite Character

An anime superfan has spent a bunch of money on goods related to Rem from Re: Zero.

Twitter user Onika_Rem-2-2 is clearly a huge fan. She has decorated his room and vehicle with the anime character.

So far, Onika_Rem02020 has spent 3 million yen ($26,505 USD) on Rem related items, including the life-sized Rem figure that cost $14,000.

Wow! That's a lot of Rem goods! If I were to spend that much on an anime character, it would probably be Lelouch from Code Geass. Rem's character design looks pretty though. It makes me wonder why he's a huge fan of this anime character. I'll probably have to check out Re: Zero now.

In the anime, Rem is known to be skilled in Water Magic. She uses her magic to attack and heal. She also equips a Morningstar in combat.
