Andrew Garfield Denies Wearing Fake Butt in Spider-Man Suit for No Way Home

Putting on the Spider-Man suit can be tough considering you have to be in great shape to pull it off. However, it looks like Andrew Garfield had no problem in that department. The Spider-Man: No Way Home star has just denied being the actor who had to wear a fake butt in his suit when shooting scenes for the film!

Tom Holland had previously joked about one of his Spider-Man: No Way Home co-stars having to wear a prosthetic butt in their Spidey suits. Although he didn't reveal whether it was Andrew Garfield or Tobey Maguire, Holland pointed out that fans can see for themselves when they watch the film.

So did Andrew Garfield have to wear the fake butt? The Tick Tick ... Boom! star got defensive while talking to Entertainment Tonight.

"I heard about this," Garfield said when asked about the fake butt story. "I have no idea!"

Interestingly, he immediately denied wearing the prosthetic in his suit. "It's not me, so I have no clue. I don't want to [accuse anyone]. I don't know," Garfield said.

He then pointed out that he thought his co-stars didn't need the fake butt. "I assumed everyone's butts were their butts!" Garfield also defended Tobey Maguire, saying that "I don't think it's Tobey. I've seen Tobey's butt — Tobey's got back."

This is going to be a hilarious mystery to think about but fans now believe that the fake butt may have been worn by one of the stuntpeople who performed as Spider-Man.

Spider-Man: No Way Home is the third in the current Spider-Man trilogy and it is the first film to feature three different actors who had played Peter Parker. The movie's Blu-ray and DVD are currently up for pre-order and will be released on April 12, 2022.
