Fans are still over the moon with Hayden Christensen's return to a galaxy far, far away and it's while his future in the franchise remains unclear, it's already evident that Lucasfilm is making the most out of the actor's new Star Wars deal. As it stands, nothing has been confirmed yet regarding what's next for Hayden but rumors have been circulating online that after his stint in Obi-Wan Kenobi, the Anakin Skywalker actor will also be making an appearance in the upcoming Ahsoka series starring Rosario Dawson.

Now, the question on a lot of people's minds is: will Hayden continue to stick around in the franchise in the years to come? Well, if you'd ask Christensen himself, he's very much down with the idea.

Speaking with The Hollywood Reporter, the 41-year-old actor opened up about the possibility of doing an Anakin Skywalker prequel series or a show centered on Darth Vader down the line. Without any hesitation, Hayden gave the concept his seal of approval, saying: "Absolutely! To get to do more with this character would be amazing!"

Well, considering the entire concept of the prequel trilogy revolved around Anakin's ascension to the dark side, I don't think there's a need for a prequel series surrounding the young Jedi. A Darth Vader series, on the other hand, now that's a different story.

Lucasfilm can easily pull off something similar to the Kenobi series, this time chronicling Skywalker's early years as the Sith Lord. That would be interesting.

Episode 5 of Obi-Wan Kenobi will stream this Wednesday on Disney+.
