Amber Heard and Johnny Depp have remained the subject of discussion after thousands of pre-trial documents were unsealed over the weekend. The document included a deposition from the former employer of Heard's sister Whitney Henriquez, who said that Whitney spoke about the incident and told her that she indeed severed Depp's finger.

Amber Heard Reportedly Cut Off Johnny Depp's Finger, Sister Told Her Employer

Over 6,000 pages of court documents were unsealed over the weekend. The cache of unsealed documents included a deposition transcript from Jennifer Howell, a former employer of Heard's sister, Whitney Henriquez. She recalled when Henriquez made an outrageous reaction after receiving a message from the Aquaman star about the gruesome incident in Australia.

"She just screamed, ‘She’s done it now. She’s cut off his Goddamn finger,’ and made this huge proclamation. And I pushed my chair back. I was like, ‘What'" Howell told Depp's lawyer Camille Vasquez in the transcript obtained by New York Post.

"And she goes, ‘She cut off his finger. She cut off his finger.’ And then she bolted out the door and was like, ‘I got to call somebody. I got to call somebody,'" Howell added.

Vasquez asked Howell to identify who "she" and "he" Henriquez were referring to in her statement.

"It was Amber and Johnny, and she apparently had thrown a bottle and cut off his finger, is what (Henriquez) reported when she came back in from whoever she talked to outside," Howell replied.

Amber Heard Denied Cutting Off Johnny Depp's Finger

Heard denied causing Depp's injury, claiming that he hurt himself after an alleged three-day bender on MDMA/ecstasy while filming Pirates in Australia. She alleged that Depp was furious and accused her of sleeping with Billy Bob Thornton, which was reportedly not true, according to Page Six.

"While he was smashing the phone, Johnny severely injured his finger, cutting off the tip of it. … Once I was able to get away, I barricaded myself in an upstairs bedroom," Heard said.

Heard's legal team also showed a text Depp sent to his doctor telling him, "I have chopped off my left middle finger to remind myself never to lose my right one again," Insider reported.

Johnny Depp Accused Amber Heard Of Cutting His Finger

Depp claimed during the trial that they were arguing over a prenuptial agreement. He said that whenever they talked about the subject, "it would springboard into unpleasantness and arguments," Entertainment Weekly reported. Heard was reportedly "irate" that he "didn't fight for her" inclusion in his will.

Later he headed downstairs and grabbed a bottle of vodka and shot glass. After two or three shots, Heard came down to the bar and found him, and she allegedly started screaming.

"'Oh, you're drinking again! You're a monster!' She walked up to me and grabbed the bottle of vodka and stood back and hurled it at me. It went past my head and smashed behind me," Depp said.

When he grabbed a larger bottle to pour himself another shot, Heard allegedly reached for it.

"My hand is on the edge of the bar and she threw the large bottle and it made contact and shattered everywhere. I didn't feel the pain at first — what I felt was heat and something dripping down my hand. I looked down and realized that the tip of my finger had been severed. I was looking directly at my bones sticking out and the meaty portion... blood was pouring out," Depp said in his testimony.

He added, "I don't know what a nervous breakdown feels like, but that's the closest I've ever [felt to it]. Nothing made sense. I knew in my mind and my heart that this is not life. No one should have to go through this."

Depp also explained his previous statement about his injured finger. According to Depp, he didn't want to get Heard in trouble, so he told the people that it was him who severed his finger.

As for his text to his personal doctor, the Fantastic Beasts actor said it was a joke and not a confession.

"When you say 'I got my finger cut off,' it doesn't necessarily mean you've done it yourself," Depp explained.

He added that as a musician, he would never harm his hand. Depp is a member of the rock band Hollywood Vampires and being a guitar player was "the only thing that was really good in my life, aside from my children," Insider quoted him as saying.

"There's no way I would cut my own finger off to ruin this beautiful opportunity to start playing guitar," he added.
