Amazon Orders New Show from BoJack Horseman Creator

BoJack Horseman has come out to be one of the most acclaimed shows on Netflix, and Amazon want in on the creative input of Raphael Bob-Waksberg. News has it that they've hired him to make yet another existential exploration series for their streaming service.

According to Deadline, Bob-Waksberg's new series will be titled Undone which focuses on a character named Alma who get an unusual connection with time after a near-fatal car accident. Alma will use her powers to explore her past and solve mysteries about herself.

Writer-producer Kate Purdy also comments:

"We are grateful to Amazon Studios for the opportunity to tell Alma's story and follow her as she seeks to find a deeper meaning to her existence."

With BoJack Horseman being a show with talking animals and such, Undone looks to have a different art style influenced by artist Hisko Hulsing. Bob-Waksberg also says:

"Hisko's beautiful artwork and masterful use of light and color will create a look never seen before on a television show that will make audiences lose their minds."

Though BoJack Horseman's first few episodes were admittedly not that impressive, any loyal follower of the series will know that sticking towards the end will definitely have a huge pay off. The show may be silly on the surface, but further exploration of the characters leads to some very cathartic (and sometimes shocking) revalations.

Undone is aiming to release sometime in 2019.
