Amazing Star Wars Art has Luke Confronted by His Ghosts

Star Wars: The Last Jedi had old Luke Skywalker being bet down into a shell of a man, and he'd banished himself to the planet of Ach-To to die. The movie has an interesting scene with Rey facing him in the rain, and artist Tony Warne does this amazing piece by adding the rest of Luke's mentors in the scene with him.

While Anakin Skywalker really wasn't a mentor to Luke, we know that Obi-Wan and Yoda were. It would certainly would have been interesting if during this scene Luke would be able to see the Force Ghosts as he had just reconnected himself with the Force. It certainly would have added to Luke's decision to finally burn down the Jedi temple.

For now, Mark Hamill is set to make an appearance in Star Wars Episode IX, and everyone else is almost certain that he's going to be a Force Ghost. With Carrie Fisher gone, the film needed someone to fill in the role of a Legacy character, and Hamill definitely fits the bill. If anything, I'm sure he was going to return even if Fisher was alive to star in the movie.

Besides Hamill, we're also going to have Billy Dee Williams return to the role of Lando Calrissian. Thanks to Solo, we know that there's a lot more history between Lando and the Falcon, and everyone is speculating that Lando will pilot the Falcon and blow it up in a blaze of glory.

Again, it's just speculation, but that's all we can do until Lucasfilm gives us some solid updates.

Star Wars Episode IX comes out Dec. 20, 2019.
