The X-Men prequels had tremendous potential but ended up bombing both critically and financially. Now, with Marvel Studios set to hit the reset button on the mutants, many are wondering if actors from the prequels could crossover to the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

With the likes of Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman joining the MCU, there's obviously a good chance we'll see other familiar faces from the FoxVerse reprise their roles and turn up in Earth-616.

However, the prequels' Storm actress, Alexandra Shipp doesn't seem enthusiastic about potentially returning or even playing a different character in the billion-dollar franchise.

Speaking with Entertainment Tonight during the premiere of Anyone But You, the actress was asked about the possibility of her returning to the Marvel Universe. Surprisingly, Shipp wants no part of the franchise and according to her, she's already satisfied with what she did with the character and would love to see a new actor breathe life into the iconic mutant.

"You know, what's kind of funny is no," Shipp said. Adding: "Yeah. I'm not interested. The thing is, what I love about the career that I've been able to form is that I can play many different things and at this point, I feel like I've done what I needed to do with Storm and I think that there are other women who could take on that role and really kill it and I support that."

She continued: "But for me, I just feel like I'm at a different place in my life."
