After showing their tickets to the guard, he takes them to a destroyed room on the train. A woman holding a puppy claims approaches them, claiming to have heard the voices of children.

Affirming their innocence, Annabeth asks the guard if they will be arrested. Despite this, the guard keeps them in the dining room. They soon realize that the woman speaking to them is Echidna, the mother of monsters. Her puppy turns out to be a baby chimera, who stings Percy.

Annabeth springs into action and stabs the monster with her knife. Soon after, they get chased by the guard and the monster.

On Reddit, those who've watched the episode can't quickly identify the actor playing the guard. Thankfully, some recognized him as Canadian actor and singer, Alessandro Juliani.

You might recognize him for his portrayal of Tactical Officer Lieutenant Felix Gaeta on Battlestar Galactica, Emil Hamilton in Smallville, and Jacapo Sinclair from The 100.
