Ahn Hyo Seop unveiled more details about Dr. Romantic 3 and his character, Seo Woo Jin.
After the success of the first two installments, Dr. Romantic will be back again with its third series. It has since confirmed the return of its previous cast members, including Han Suk Kyu, Ahn Hyo Seop, Lee Sung Kyung, Kim Min Jae, So Ju Yeon, Jin Kyung, and Im Won Hee, to name a few.
Ahead of its highly-anticipated return, Ahn Hyo Seop shared his thoughts about the Kdrama series and his character.

Ahn Hyo Seop Shares Why He Thinks Dr. Romantic Became Successful
Ahn Hyo Seop recently sat down in an interview (via MyDaily), during which he opened up about his upcoming return to Dr. Romantic 3.
The Kdrama series explores the stories of doctors working at a rundown hospital in the countryside name Doldam Hospital. From its first installment, which aired in 2016, it has already savored success due to its storyline and Han Suk Kyu's performance.

Reflecting on the Kdrama series' success, the actor revealed that the story and the Dr. Romantic team played huge roles in the past years.
He explained:
“First, I think the realistic human stories that ‘Dr. Romantic’ tells and the messages it throws out into the world give us food for thought regarding the direction of our own lives—what we ought to consider important in life, and why we need to keep living that way.
Second, I think it was the firm and unanimous determination of the entire ‘Dr. Romantic’ team, including the director, writer, cast, and crew.”
Ahn Hyo Seop was also asked whether he ever expected the drama to have a new season. Ahn Hyo Seop recounted the time someone in the team said something lightheartedly.
Dr. Romantic cast, and crew members reportedly declared they should return to Doldam sometime in the future. From there, he had always wanted to be part of the cast members again because the series reportedly made Ahn Hyo Seop happy.
What To Expect From Ahn Hyo Seop's Dr. Romantic 3 Character
For fans who have been wanting to see what Dr. Romantic has to offer, Ahn Hyo Seop told the viewers that Seo Woo Jin's world changed in the series.
He added that his character became more mature as his perspective on life expanded.
Aside from his character, he revealed that all characters had already transformed in the next season.
Dr. Romantic 3 will be released on April 28 at 10 p.m. KST.
