After Age of Apocalypse and Age of X, The X-Men Have to Go Through the Age of X-Man

Uncanny X-Men just came back as an ongoing series and it looks like the time for these characters has already come to an end. The first issue had a number of shocking deaths, so we can only assume that the kill count will continue with issue two. All of this chaos is going to lead to something universe-altering, as Marvel Comics has announced that the X-Men will enter the Age of X-Man, complete with a number of new titles representing this interesting era.

Very similar to the hit 90's event Age of Apocalypse, Age of X-Man will not only rewrite reality for the characters but will also give us new comic books that show how this era is like. According to The Hollywood Reporter, these are the following comics that will launch in February, all of which will be five-issue mini-series: The Marvelous X-Men, Nextgen, The Amazing Nightcrawler, The X-Tremists, Prisoner X and Apocalypse and the X-Tracts.

All of these intriguing developments seem to be coming from X-Man, a character from Age of Apocalypse who is suddenly treating himself like some kind of deity. He's even getting his own set of horsemen, just like Apocalypse. Considering how he could barely lift a basketball during New Mutants, this is going to be very interesting.

It's worth noting that there are two X-Men left in our reality who will try to find out what's going on; Cyclops and Wolverine. With the former confirmed for a return in Uncanny X-Men #11, the two are now teaming up for the first time in years in Uncanny X-Men #12 to, presumably, find out what's going on.
