Adult Cast of IT: Chapter 2 Come Together in an Official Photo

The adult cast for IT: Chapter Two as finally been assembled, and a table read for the film gives us an official photo of everyone fooling around.

Probably the biggest names in the cast are Jessica Chastain (Bev), James McAvoy (Bill), and Bill Hader (Richie). Joining them will be Jay Ryan (Ben) James Ransone (Eddie), and Andy Bean (Stan). You'll also notice Old Spice's Isaiah Mustafa as Mike.

I know he isn't in the picture, but I think it would have been fun to see Bill Skarsgard (Pennywise) among the cast. Then again, the photo is just focusing on the Losers Club.

Though the adult segment of the book is considered to be the weaker part of the IT story, I think director Andy Muschietti has some interesting plans for the sequel. He did make some significant changes with the first film, and they all turned out fine in the end.

What I actually would have wanted to see was a deleted scene of Pennywise first arriving on Earth, and forcing a mother to feed him her child. It's a very twisted scene, and I think it would have been terrifying to have it in the final cut. Plus, it would give us an idea on how long Pennywise had been terrorizing people.

IT: Chapter Two comes out Sept. 6, 2019.
