Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse already introduced a slew of interesting new characters who could play a larger role in the future. Daniel Kaluuya already has some ideas on who should join the Spider Society and amazingly, he thinks Snoop Dogg would make an excellent new Spider-Person.
Daniel Kaluuya Campaigns for Snoop Dogg and Bill Murray To Join The Spider Society
Daniel Kaluuya was one of the exciting new additions to the Spider-Verse, playing Hobie Brown aka Spider-Punk in the animated sequel. But when GamesRadar asked which actors he would like to see joining the franchise, the Black Panther star already had a cool cat in mind.
“Snoop Dogg! Spider-Dogg - D, O, double G! He would shut the sh-t down. He’s got the best voice in modern society, let’s keep it real,” Kaluuya said.
He also believes that an Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania actor should join the animated franchise.
“Or, Bill Murray - I don’t know how you get him in it but my guy Bill has got to be involved as well. If I could work with Bill Murray in any shape or form, I’d be a happy man,” Kaluuya admitted.
Those are truly amazing choices and we can totally see it happening. However, it's still unclear which Spider-People will be introduced in Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse.
If there's one thing to expect in the sequel, it's the return of Kaluuya's Spider-Punk.
Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse concluded with Gwen Stacy desperate to find Miles Morales and calling on her friends Peter B. Parker, Pavitr Prabhakar, Peni Parker, Spider-Man Noir, Spider-Ham, and of course, Hobie Brown, for help.
With that in mind, we'll be expecting a lot of action next year.
Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse is now screening in cinemas worldwide. Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse is currently scheduled for release on March 29, 2024.
