A Scale Replica of the Millennium Falcon is Being Built for the Premiere of Solo: A Star Wars Story

Solo: A Star Wars Story is having its red carpet premiere today, and Disney has decided to go all out by building a scale model of Lando's Millennium Falcon on the Hollywood Blvd.

Check it out:

Though they probably didn't construct the interior of the Falcon, I'm pretty sure a lot of people are still excited just to be in the presence of an actual scale replica. Besides the Falcon, they even constructed some lights on the carpet made to look like the interior corridors of the ship.

While some people are scratching their heads over why the Falcon looks so different, some toys of it have revealed that the front part is actually removable. Some guess that it's a smaller ship or a cargo hold. Rest assured, once it flies off, the Falcon will look pretty close to the one that Han drives in A New Hope.

The movie comes out in two weeks, and hype is building up as the release date draws nearer. Reviews for the film won't come out until the 16th, but I think everyone, even the haters, is going to see this film when it comes out. Let's hope Alden Ehrenreich delivers a great Han Solo.

Solo: A Star Wars Story comes out May 25.
