The latest released trailer for Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse gave us a tease of Gwen Stacy, and now a new image has been released online showing Gwen without the mask.

Gwen is actually being voiced by Bumblebee lead Hailee Steinfeld, and during a panel at SDCC (via ComicBookMovie), she had this to say about playing Gwen:
"The fact that she is really just the toughest and the coolest and the smartest and the most capable one in the room and she knows it, there's something really incredible about her. She's got so much to her and it was really fantastic playing a character like her."
We still don't know how this Gwen will make her way into Miles Morales' universe, but I'm interested to hear the explanation when the movie officially comes out. With an entire Spider-Verse that can be established, maybe Sony can explain why Venom has nothing to do with the MCU.
A new trailer was also released at SDCC, but for the people who weren't at the event, they'll have to wait a bit longer before it's released online. For now, they can just read all the descriptions that have been coming out.
They'll release the clips eventually.
Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse comes out Dec. 13.
