A Closer Look at Spider-Man's New Outfit in Far from Home

We just recently got a look at an all-new Spidey outfit from Spider-Man: Far from Home, but set videos didn't really give us a good look at the costume. Now some more photos have come out online, and it gives us a better look at Peter Parker's new superhero duds.

If you think the suit looks a tad familiar, it's actually based off of a redesign that Alex Ross did for Spider-Man. Ross himself even shared a comparison on his Twitter. As for the white Spider logo on the back, though, I think that's more of a nod from the PS4 Spider-Man game.

With black being introduced to the costume as well as a white spider, I can't help but think this is all building up to the eventual symbiote suit. We know that the Venom symbiote is currently with Eddie Brock in the SUMC, but it's still possible that Sony will connect that universe with the MCU, with the symbiote possibly taking over Peter Parker for a while.

Then again, with Venom's altered origin, it's possible that they might also do the same with Peter Parker's symbiote suit. Though I imagine some people would be angry over it — like the Mandarin reveal in Iron Man 3 — I think a lot of people will accept it as long as they come up with a great story.

Though I wish we got a more official reveal with the suit, these set photos just get me more excited for the film. At best, this is the third Spidey suit confirmed for the movie—the other two being the classic suit, and the other being a stealth outfit very akin to the Spider-Man Noir look.

Catch Spider-Man: Far from Home in theaters July 5, 2019.
