Fans have to wait a little longer before seeing the aftermath of Adam’s (Hunter Doohan) death in Your Honor Season 2 after Showtime announced its premiere delay on Monday, October 31.

Instead of a December release date, Your Honor Season 2 will be out in January. So, why make a move?

Your Honor Season 2 Delay

The second season now has a new release date, Sunday, January 15, at 9/8c. It will be a month later than its original premiere date of December 11.

So, why did the network decide to move the new season’s release?

According to Deadline, Showtime chose to move the show’s release due to its “serialized nature,” believing it would be best watched “week after week.” It also wanted to air the series without interruption during Christmas.

This move is also the network's first major scheduling decision after David Nevins left as the Chairman and CEO of Showtime Networks. He was replaced by Chris McCarthy.

Along with the premiere announcement, Showtime also released the first official look at the New Orleans Judge Michael Desiato (Bryan Cranston).

The justice looks very different this season, far from the authoritative father fans used to see. There are theories that the death of his son, Adam, after being gunned down in a tragic mishap, may have taken its toll on him.
