Also, Mandy (Emily Osment), Meemaw (Annie Potts), and Georgie (Montana Jordan) faced Pastor Jeff (Matt Hobby) after imposing rules on their video store. A lot is about to happen in the show’s return next year. Thankfully, the cast finally revealed when the series would continue after its mandatory winter break.
Everyone greets their loyal viewers with a happy holiday, posted on the show’s Instagram account. Later, it confirmed Young Sheldon Season 6 would return for its midseason premiere on January 5.

So, what will happen in Episode 9?
The new episode’s official synopsis, via IMDb, revealed that Sheldon seems to be considering dropping out of college.

“Sheldon considers dropping out of college to focus on building his database,” it reads. “Also, George Sr. is frustrated when someone else gets credit for his football wins.”

Young Sheldon Season 6 saw everyone having a much better time than the previous season. However, they still have to deal with problems of their own, one of which is Sheldon’s database grant.
Considering the inept genius wants to work on his own and has decided to do so, it’s highly unlikely that the people at East Texas Tech will stop him.

Of course, the show will also highlight Mandy’s pregnancy as she nears giving birth. She has also become a member of the family after moving in with Meemaw, making her even more involved in the illegal gambling business disguised as the laundromat and video shop.
However, it remains to be seen if she can complete her pregnancy, knowing The Big Bang Theory never talked about George’s kid.
