Caroline Warner, the CEO of Market Equities, is pouring billions into efforts to revitalize the city, fueled by her personal vendetta against Beth, whose betrayal halted Market Equities' plans and cost the company millions. Meanwhile, John Dutton is running for governor of Montana, a position that would allow him to protect the Yellowstone Dutton Ranch.
Furthermore, because the bitter sibling rivalry between Beth and Jamie has ended with Beth and John having complete control over Jamie, the Duttons could control both the governor's and attorney general's offices in Montana by the end of Yellowstone Season 5.
The Broken Rock Indian Reservation is also likely to play a larger role in the ensuing conflict, especially because Kayce recently completed the warrior initiation procedures to become a full member of his wife Monica's tribe.
If Market Equities goes ahead with its plans, Chief Thomas Rainwater might just bring back corporate lawyer Angela Blue Thunder (Q'orianka Kilcher), giving the Broken Rock Indian Reservation an advantage in the upcoming war.
