Yellowstone Season 4 had a successful conclusion after garnering the show’s highest viewership record yet. The finale, which aired in January, amassed nearly 10 million viewers across the United States.

This is why it did not come as a surprise when Paramount Network gave the show its green light for a new season. A month after the fourth season’s end, the Kevin Costner-led material received its official renewal for Season 5.

Release Date, Cast Members For The New Season

There is very little information about Yellowstone Season 5. It is worth noting, though, that the renewal announcement just came in on Thursday.

Even so, What To Watch recently released a report, sharing the latest information about the show that may help avid fans.

It stated that production for the new episodes has yet to begin. But, producer David Glasser told Variety that they are expecting to start with it this May, with the goal of releasing the fifth season in the fall of 2022.

As with the official release date, no further information has come to light whether the show will welcome new faces for Season 5. Nevertheless, fans and avid viewers can reportedly expect to see the series regulars, including especially Kevin Costner, who is the star of the show.

Some of the regular cast members include Kelly Reilly, Luke Grimes, Wes Bentley, Cole Hauser, Kelsey Asbille, and Brecken Merrill.

Yellowstone Season 5 Plot Details

To date, all fans and avid followers have are speculations and theories about Yellowstone Season 5. Although the last installment did not have shocking cliffhangers, unlike in Season 3, Den of Geek said that there are hints and clues as to what may happen with the Duttons in the future.

Viewers saw the Dutton patriarch slowed down in Season 4 due to his coma and recovery after the events in Season 3. As things continue to move forward through his children, it is reportedly likely that more disputes will take place in the new installments, but without John taking the lead in person.

There are even some speculations that he may finally run for office in Yellowstone Season 5. Meanwhile, Jamie may play a much bigger role, and Kayce may face darker moments with Monica, causing Beth and Rip to step up.
