Yellowstone Season 4 Episode 9 Recap

We started Yellowstone Season 4 with John giving Carter a history lesson, informing him "There's no such thing as fair," which also serves as the episode's title. Following the previous shootout, Beth's worry for John grew. She confronts Rip about it and then immediately accuses John of failing to look after Jamie. John claims that she was completely mistaken and that the attack was perpetrated by someone else. They attempted, but failed, to establish themselves as the big guns. The idea that John isn't going to finish the task just fuels Beth's fire.

By the end of the episode, John has planned a dinner where he would confront Beth about her use of Summer. Beth stated that she was willing to go to any length for Yellowstone. She doesn't mind if Summer becomes a part of the problem. On his side, John despises the tantrum and wishes to confront it with morality. All of the turmoil causes him to urge Beth to leave and look for a new place to live.

Apart from that, Jimmy, in order to keep John informed, was heading for Montana and had to say good-bye to Emily. Kayce was preoccupied with connecting with the wolf. Beth requested that Walker play a melancholy song for her to cry to.

Yellowstone Season 4 Episode 10 airs at 8 p.m. ET on Paramount Network. Yellowstone's fourth season will come to an end with the tenth episode.
