Yellowstone, the hit television series created by Taylor Sheridan, is facing an uncertain future as rumors swirl that its star actor, Kevin Costner, may be departing from the show.

With reports flooding in from all corners, speculation is mounting that the fate of the program could hinge on the resolution of this potential departure. One cast member has even gone so far as to suggest that the show "lives and dies" on Costner's involvement.

Wolé Parks Shares Thoughts About Kevin Costner Yellowstone Exit Rumors

Wolé Parks, known for his portrayal of Torry, Dan Jenkins' (Danny Huston) bodyguard in Season 2 of Yellowstone, recently shared his thoughts on the future of the show in light of rumors that Costner may be leaving.

Parks, who had the opportunity to work with Costner on set, stated in an interview with Express that he believes the success of Yellowstone is closely tied to Costner's involvement.

While he acknowledges that Sheridan could potentially find a way to navigate the situation, Parks emphasized the importance of a show's leading star, stating that they "set the tone" and can ultimately make or break a series.

Although it is technically possible for the show to continue without Costner, Parks' prediction is that Yellowstone may conclude after its fifth season if the actor were to depart.

Is Kevin Costner Really Leaving Yellowstone?

After rumors circulated that Yellowstone Season 5 might be it's last due to Kevin Costner's alleged scheduling issues, the actor's attorney, Marty Singer, has come forward to dismiss these claims.

Time reported that Singer issued a statement refuting rumors of any delays or conflicts on set, reassuring fans that Costner has no issues with the show's producers. Singer's statement was met with relief from fans of the show.

Meanwhile, Paramount, the network that airs Yellowstone, released its own statement on the matter, expressing their hope that Costner will remain with the show "for a long time to come."

While the second half of Yellowstone Season 5 was expected to premiere on Paramount this summer, filming delays make it unlikely that the series will return until later in the year.
