Yellowjackets have brilliantly peeled back the layers of an intriguing mystery told across two timelines since its explosive debut episode. Next week, on Yellowjackets Season 1 Episode 10, you'll see an amazing event like no other – the finale! We know there have been many mysteries at the core of this season, aside from what will happen to Shauna and the others in the present.

Yellowjackets Season 1 Episode 10: More Questions Left Unanswered

Is there anything else out there? This appears to be one of the questions expressed in the past as the story progresses. However, for the time being, it's difficult to argue with the outcomes, and Yellowjackets is providing one of the most riveting television experiences.

We can simply dig in, enjoy (or be terrified of) this episode, and then prepare for a cliffhanger later. We have a hard time imagining anything else at the end of a show this dramatic and full of twists.

What makes the show so intriguing right now is that the present-day story may be just as chaotic as what we've seen in the past. After all, some of these women have worked hard to build an alternate life for themselves, only for the facade to begin to shatter. You could see the early warning signs of this all the way back at the beginning of the series, and it's only getting worse as we approach the reunion.

Yellowjackets Season 2

Do we believe we'll get all of the answers in the finale? Probably not, but we should get some at the very least. At the very least, we have the comfort of knowing that Season 2 has already been renewed, and we don't have to worry about the long-term future.

Throughout its course, this program has done a fantastic job of portraying a lot of compelling character conflicts and developing on them over time. This is why we appreciate that the present-day sequences are equally as engaging and compelling.

We realize that the writers could easily make it solely about the aftermath of the plane disaster. It provides a complexity to the story that you won't find in a lot of other high-concept dramas, and it makes us believe it will last for years.
