The Spring Anime Season has been full of isekai anime but there is one romantic comedy series standing out among the rest. Now on its second run, fans and viewers are already wondering whether there would be a Komi Can't Communicate Season 3, and when it arrives, what to expect.

Unfortunately, as of the time of writing, there is no official word yet from OLM, Netflix, or any party connected to Komi Can’t Communicate whether there would be a Season 3 for the beloved anime series.

However, if it is to happen, it can be expected to happen possibly late in 2022 or 2023.

Komi Can’t Communicate follows the titular character Komi, who has a disorder when it comes to speaking with others. Her first friend in school, Tadano, has the ability to understand her even when she is anxious talking to others.

Here’s where she is different from the others – she’s drop-dead gorgeous, like an angel sent from the heavens, a goddess-like beauty.

Throughout seasons 1 and 2, Komi remains to have the recurring problem of fighting her social anxiety to even speak but Tadano continues to be there for her.

They are currently having a budding attraction to each other but they remain shy to admit their feelings. One of the main questions in the series would be whether Komi and Tadano would end up with each other.

The series is based on the Japanese manga series by Tomohito Oda released in Shogakukan’s shonen manga magazine, Weekly Shonen Sunday, since 2016.

Komi Can’t Communicate still has a lot of material to base on, with twenty-five tankōbon volumes as of April 2022.

Season 1 of Komi Can’t Communicate was released in October 2021 by the same studio, OLM, and it ended in December of the same year.

Immediately after, Season 2 was announced to come back for the Spring 2022 Anime Season which premiered in April and is currently ongoing.

Komi Can’t Communicate Season 2 releases new episodes every Wednesday at 12MN JST/ 8 AM PT/ 10 AM CT/ 11 AM EST/ 4 PM BST.
