Rosario Dawson will of course be reprising her role as Ahsoka Tano, as seen in The Mandalorian Season 2, and more recently, The Book of Boba Fett Season 1. The Togruta Jedi first appeared in Star Wars: The Clone Wars, and subsequently, Star Wars: Rebels.

In terms of any plot for the show, nothing concrete has been revealed as yet, but as teased in the Rebels finale and Ahsoka's appearance in The Mandalorian, it's expected that the Jedi and Sabine Wren will continue their search for the long lost Jedi Ezra Bridger.

Anakin Skywalker

In October 2021, The Hollywood Reporter confirmed that Hayden Christensen would be making an appearance in Ahsoka, reprising his role as Anakin Skywalker. Anakin was Ahsoka Tano's Jedi Master for the best part of three years during the Clone Wars era.

Exactly how Anakin will appear remains to be seen, but it's possible that we'll be getting flashbacks of the Clone Wars (which would involve de-aging for Christensen and a new actress for Ahsoka), or Anakin appearing as a Force Ghost - or perhaps even both.

In November 2021, Deadline Hollywood announced that Natasha Liu Bordizzo would be bringing Star Wars: Rebels character Sabine Wren to life in live-action in the Ahsoka series. Sabine is a Mandalorian who fought the Empire alongside Ahsoka in the animated show.

In the Rebels finale, we see Ahsoka approach Sabine as they plan to begin their search for Jedi Ezra Bridger, who previously sacrificed himself and Grand Admiral Thrawn by disappearing into the Force, to save his home planet Lothal from the Empire.

Mary Elizabeth Winstead

In January, The Hollywood Reporter confirmed that 10 Cloverfield Lane star Mary Elizabeth Winstead was cast in the Ahsoka in an undisclosed role. However, the actress has proved herself to be a great action hero, with recent roles such as Kate and Birds of Prey.

Many fans are speculating that Winstead will be playing Jedi Barriss Offee, who served as one of Ahsoka's Padawans during the Clone Wars era. Barriss is best known for framing Ahsoka for murder, which is why the Togruta Jedi ended up leaving the Jedi Order.

Pacific Rim: Uprising star Ivanna Sakhno has also been cast in an undisclosed role in the upcoming series, though many fans expect she will be playing a villain of some kind, given her somewhat fierce and intimidating nature.

It's also possible she'll be playing an ally to Ahsoka, but either way, this remains to be seen. It's likely that the show will also welcome a whole new roster of characters never before seen in any Star Wars canon, and we've got our bets hedged on Sakhno being a fresh face.

In February, The Hollywood Reporter announced that Thor and Punisher: Warzone actor Ray Stevenson had also been cast in an undisclosed role. Stevenson has also played villains, with the hit show Dexter being a perfect example, but we'll just have to wait and see.

It's also unknown whether he'll have a fleeting cameo or play a major supporting character. Knowing Stevenson, it will likely be the latter, especially when you consider all the major projects the British actor has appeared in over the years. An Imperial, perhaps?

In 2021, Katee Sackhoff expressed an interest in having Bo-Katan Kryze - who has previously shown up in The Mandalorian Season 2 - show up in Ahsoka. This would make perfect sense, as the two characters fought alongside one another in Star Wars: The Clone Wars.

Sackhoff also voiced Bo-Katan in both The Clone Wars and Rebels. And we know that both she and Ahsoka have remained in some sort of contact over the decades, as Bo-Katan is the one who leads Din Djarin to Ahsoka on the forest planet of Corvus.

Ezra Bridger Star Wars Rebels

Mena Massoud is a name that has been floating around quite a bit when it comes to Ahsoka. The Aladdin actor is the fan's choice for the character of Star Wars: Rebels' Ezra Bridger, and is something Massoud himself has even teased. Only time will tell.

Ezra quickly became one of the most important characters in Star Wars canon, as he introduced fans to the World Between Worlds, a mythical dimension where the rules of time and space don't apply - in other words, a place where one can time travel...

While it is yet to be confirmed, rumor has it that Lars Mikkelsen - brother of Mads Mikkelsen (who plays Galen Erso in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story) - has been cast as Grand Admiral Thrawn, a villain from Rebels who Ahsoka mentions during her cameo in The Mandalorian.

Thrawn is a fan-favorite villain, but it's fair to say he's nowhere near as well-known as the likes of Darth Maul, Darth Vader, or the Emperor. When he shows up in Ahsoka - and he will, because he's already been foreshadowed - it will definitely put him on the map.
