When is Thor: Love and Thunder Coming to Disney+?
Earlier today, Disney answered this question via a Twitter post:
"Huzzah! Marvel Studios’ #ThorLoveAndThunder is a #DisneyPlusDay premiere, streaming September 8 only on #DisneyPlus."
They also accompanied the tweet with a new poster specifically for the streaming platform.
So there you have it, folks! If you weren't able to catch Thor: Love and Thunder in theaters, you have a chance to catch up next month.
September 8 has been declared as Disney Plus Day, where several other shows, shorts, and behind-the-scenes features will be released on the same day. Apart from Thor: Love and Thunder, we can look forward to Disney's live-action adaptation of the classic Pinocchio, which stars Tom Hanks, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Luke Evans, and many others.
Disney+'s tweet also shows the other titles that will be available for streaming on Disney Plus Day.
Fans can also look out for the behind-the-scenes footage of Thor with ASSEMBLED: The Making of Thor, which will be available to stream starting September 8th as well.
Thor: Love and Thunder Plot
Thor: Love and Thunder brings back our favorite Asgardian hero, Chris Hemsworth (as Thor), as he faces a new challenge: retirement. Unfortunately, his days as a retired god are put to the test when Gorr the God Butcher (played by Christian Bale) starts looking for gods like him.
To battle Gorr, Thor enlists the help of his faithful allies, Valkyrie (played by Tessa Thompson) and Korg (voiced by director Taika Waititi). And surprise, surprise, Thor's ex-girlfriend, Jane Foster (played by Natalie Portman) is also there to help out, thanks to her own god-like powers.
