Toradora is a romantic comedy series with a slice of life genre. It follows the story of Ryuuji Takasu and Taiga Aisaka who both agreed to help one another end up with their crushes.

When Did Taiga and Ryuuji Fall in Love?

The most obvious episode that all fans can agree with was episode 8 when Ryuuji saved her from drowning. She was so afraid that something bad would happen to him and ended up shouting that he is hers. His reaction to this wasn’t even surprised at all, but rather relieved.

By episode 9, the two of them had a similar dream of being married which in a way, indicates that Ryuuji is starting to have feelings for her as well. But then again, the two of them are aware that they have respective crushes which leave them the option to just prioritize their friendship.

Ryuuji and Taiga’s relationship developed well. It wasn’t rushed at all, hence maybe the reason there is no Toradora Season 2. Even if their relationship started a bit different, the progression of their relationship was written beautifully that captured the hearts of its viewers.
