To the eyes of many DC fans all across the globe, Henry Cavill is the definitive live-action version of Superman and it's a complete shame he never got to live up to his potential as the Man of Steel. A lot of people are convinced that Warner Bros. and DC Films are to blame for Cavill's once-promising DC Extended Universe career falling flat.

While WB and DC Films dropped their initial plans to give the British actor the Man of Steel 2 project he was promised, the newly-formed Warner Bros. Discovery is giving fans hope that the tide will finally turn in his favor.

Several reports claim that the CEO of the combined companies David Zaslav is adamant about redeeming the iconic comic book superhero whom he describes as one of the brand's "top shelf characters... left to languish."

Now, in a surprising turn of events, one of Warner Media's social media handles has seemingly acknowledged Henry's existence after years of being ignored on purpose. On Twitter, Warner Channel which operates in Latinoamerica greeted the actor who is celebrating his 39th birthday today, May 5th.

Of course, this might not mean anything but what if WB Discovery is planting the seeds for his eventual comeback? One can dream. Check out the post below:

Cavill is already approaching his 40s and the clock is definitely ticking for him. Hopefully, the newly-formed Warner Bros. Discovery acts immediately because the DCEU couldn't exist without a Superman.
