WandaVision Series Seemingly Set for September Release on Disney+

It was recently revealed that The Falcon and The Winter Soldierwon't make its August premiere date on Disney+ seeing as the show wasn't included in the streaming service's slate in the said month. However, it looks like a different Marvel series could arrive sooner!

WandaVision was initially set to arrive in spring 2021 but was given an earlier release date of December of this year. As part of the confirmation for The Falcon and the Winter Soldier not arriving in August, Deadline's report reveals that WandaVision "remains on track for its previously set October premiere date."

It's uncertain if this is WandaVision's new release date that the outlet just sneakily revealed or if it's just a publishing error since the House of Mouse had already announced that the show arrives in December.

WandaVision was one of the projects that went early into production, expected to have little work left to do with the addition of VFX considering that it reportedly finished most of its principal production. Should this new release date get confirmed, this is certainly good news for fans who have been eagerly waiting for the show's arrival.

What's unclear is how the show's October release will fit into the MCU timeline, especially since it's set to happen before Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, with The Falcon and the Winter Soldier supposed to kick off Phase 4 of the MCU.

WandaVision is set for release in late 2020 while The Falcon and The Winter Soldier still has some left to shoot with no set release date.
