Walker Season 3 Episode 6 Release Date, Spoilers & Update: Jared Padalecki to Reunite With One Supernatural Alum in Upcoming Episode

Jared Padalecki and Jake Abel, co-stars on Supernatural, are poised to reunite on Walker Season 3 Episode 6.

Following the conclusion of Supernatural, Padalecki starred as Cordell Walker in Walker, a reworking of the iconic Chuck Norris series Walker, Texas Ranger. The series follows Cordell as he returns to his hometown to investigate his wife's tragic death.

Supernatural Co-Stars Reunite on Walker Season 3 Episode 6

Abel and Padalecki will soon get back together for the first time since Supernatural ended, according to EW. Beginning with the upcoming Nov. 10 episode Something There That Wasn't There Before. he will be a part of the Walker cast in a recurring role as Kevin, the mayor's chief of staff.

When he hires Trey (Jeff Pierre) and Cassie (Ashley Reyes) as security for an upcoming fundraiser, the character, who won't make a very good first impression, will enter the orbit of Walker's group.

Padalecki and Jensen Ackles starred as monster-hunting brothers Sam and Dean Winchester on The CW's Supernatural from 2005 to 2020. Supernatural has introduced numerous new characters throughout the years, including Abel's Adam Milligan, who is Sam and Dean's younger half-brother who appears in 5 episodes between 2009 and 2015.

Supernatural Easter Eggs on Walker

Walker Season 3 Episode 6 wouldn’t be the first instance a Supernatural alum appeared on the show. Since the show's debut, there have been a lot of Supernatural reunions, probably because Padalecki serves as an executive producer on Walker.

The most notable of these is that Walker's father, Bonham, who is portrayed in the series by Mitch Pileggi (Samuel Campbell in Supernatural), is a central figure. But among the Supernatural performers who have been on the show for varying amounts of time include Beth Broderick, Colin Ford, Genevieve Padalecki, Richard Speight Jr., and Amara Zaragoza.

The CW has made every effort to include as many Supernatural features as possible. This extends behind the camera, as Walker has brought in Ackles himself for a spell in the director's chair for the Season 2 Episode No Such Thing as Fair Play, in addition to sharing 9 members of the sound department and director Amyn Kaderali.

Given this track record, it appears highly doubtful that the Supernatural references and crossovers would cease with Abel's recurrent role, thus, viewers should expect more Easter eggs in future seasons.
