VALORANT North American Esports and Iconic Events have teamed-up to show the VALORANT Champions Tour Last Chance Qualifier in select Cinemark theaters nationwide in October 2021.
In the Last Chance Qualifier, 10 VALORANT teams will compete for their final opportunity to earn a spot at the VALORANT Champions event in December. With both Sentinels and Envy already locked for VALORANT Champions, there's only one spot left for grabs, and eight North American teams like Version1, 100 Thieves, FaZe Clan, and XSET earned their spots in the event by accumulating NA Circuit Points. Two Oceania teams, Chief ESC and ORDER, earned their slots from the Oceania Tour Championship.
Fans will be able to watch the tournament live at home via the official VALORANT Twitch channel or in a select movie theater near them.
"Iconic Events Releasing is thrilled to bring the VALORANT LCQ to movie theaters through our partnership with Cinemark," Iconic CEO Steve Bunnell announced. "Movie theaters offer a safe and inclusive experience for fans across the US to watch these talented players battle it out live in one of the most exciting esports competitions of the year."
Tickets will go on sale starting Sept. 30, and you can check out the full list of select theaters on valorantliveintheaters.com. Notable cities like Los Angeles, Houston, Las Vegas, Sacramento, and more locations will show the LCQ in theaters. The closest one to my area is Asheville, NC, but since I won't have time to take a three-hour drive that day, I'm probably going to pass this opportunity. Hopefully, more cities will have theaters that will show VALORANT esports events in the near future.

The NA VALORANT Champions Tour LCQ will take place on Oct. 17, and the winning team will earn a spot to the Champions tournament this December.
