VALORANT-Like Hyper Front Launches iOS TestFlight in The SEA Region

NetEase Global, a world-renowned Chinese mobile game developer/publisher, has announced the opening of their iOS TestFlight for Hyper Front, the upcoming 5v5 hero-based first-person shooter accused of being a rip-off of Riot Games's VALORANT.

Formerly known as "Project M.", Hyper Front features fast-paced competitive 5v5 gameplay based around the hero characters and their abilities with the objective to plant or defuse the bomb depending if the team is attacking or defending. The mobile game clearly shares a lot of similarities to VALORANT. However, with Hyper Front getting ready to release before the recently-announced VALORANT Mobile, this might be a good way to capture the mobile FPS audience faster and get ahead of the curve.

As of recent months, Hyper Front has been available in Philippines, Malaysia, Thailand, and Singapore on Android exclusively. While the list of countries where the game is available hasn't changed yet, this TestFlight is getting ready to launch the game for iOS audiences. The TestFlight is currently invitation-based, and details on how to get access are still relatively scarce. However, we already know that mobile gamers will need to take this survey to access Hyper Front alongside a questionnaire that needs to be filled out. They will reportedly be used to send out invitations for the game's TestFlight.

The survey plans to collect information about your device, your country, past experience with games in general, and your Discord and Facebook IDs. However, the survey doesn't guarantee players access to Hyper Front's TestFlight, but if you're one of the gamers in SEA region, you should try to fill it out as soon as possible.

A YouTube video showcases the abilities of the heroes of Hyper Front, and as you can see below, a lot of their abilities will remind you of VALORANT agents' abilities such as Sage's ice wall, Brim's smokes, Omen's teleport abilities, and Sova's recon arrow and drone.
