Ubisoft and BossLogic are Teasing the Next Assassin's Creed Game

Assassin's Creed has always been one of Ubisoft's big properties, if not their biggest one. While many people have legitimate complaints about how the publisher releases too many games in this franchise, there's no doubt that when one of these games are good, they're really good. The company has announced that they will be revealing their next game soon and with help from fan-favorite artist BossLogic.

Considering all the rumors about this Assassin's Creed game supposedly being set in the era of Vikings, we wouldn't be surprised if they ended up sticking with what's been reported. The games in this series have been leaked a multitude of times and we wouldn't be surprised if Assassin's Creed Ragnarok will be the next game, though we could always be proven wrong.

To the credit of Ubisoft, the company has managed to avoid yearly releases after releasing too many games in this franchise. No game was released a year after Assassin's Creed Odyssey, which is good restraint from the company. It also helps that Odyssey was a fantastic game, even if it did use some microtransactions, which annoyed a number of gamers.

Right now, there is no planned release date for the next Assassin's Creed game. Fans can currently check out all of the current-gen entries on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Assassin's Creed 3, 4, and Rogue were recently re-released on the Nintendo Switch.
