Tom Holland has expressed interest in starring with Zendaya in her hit HBO series Euphoria, which she enthusiastically welcomes.

On Thursday, Holland and Zendaya, both 25, appeared in an IMDb video to answer fans' questions ahead of the Friday premiere of Spider-Man: No Way Home. Holland and Zendaya have collaborated on three Spider-Man films, including Homecoming and Far From Home.

Holland expressed disappointment in not being asked to appear on the HBO series that earned Zendaya an Emmy award during an interview with IMDb.

“Listen, I have been petitioning for this for a long time and it has not happened yet and I’m very disappointed. I must have come to visit Euphoria’ 30 times this season,” Holland said.

It could be a possibility in the future, the actress added. “I know! Let me talk to some people. HBO! Let’s get them on the phone,” Zendaya said during the interview.

Will We See Holland in Euphoria Season 2?

It would be a big change for Holland, given the wild and sexually charged world of HBO's Euphoria, which is about to launch its second season. Euphoria Season 2 has been a long time in the making. The new episodes were supposed to premiere in March 2020, but the pandemic prompted the season to be put on hold indefinitely.

Meanwhile, Sam Levinson, the show's creator, began development on two solo episodes based on the characters played by Zendaya and Hunter Schaffer. These Euphoria episodes acted as a transition between the first and second seasons of the show.

Fans will be disappointed if Holland decides to leave his role as Spider-Man, but it will allow him to pursue other parts and not be known just for his portrayal of the renowned web-slinger. With the second season of Euphoria set to premiere on Jan. 9, 2022, it's unlikely that Holland will appear this season.

While there has been no word on a third season, given the success of the first and the anticipation for Season 2, this popular series is likely to be renewed. Holland could appear in the series at some point, courtesy of the help of Euphoria's lead actor.
